The 2022 Pinot Noir is terrific, as well as a smoking value. Spicy red and black cherry fruits, some peppery, herbal, and spice notes, medium body, and a pure, layered, elegant mouthfeel all make for a complex, nuanced, incredibly satisfying Pinot Noir that has real character and charm. I'd gladly drink a bottle any time over the coming 4-6 years.
This second label for Paul Lato is quite a deal. Aromas of raspberry, plum, white pepper and garden herbs lead from the nose into a tightly woven palate of zesty red fruit and more prominent herbal influences. The tension is compelling into the finish.
