The 2019 Method Napa Valley Cabernet Sauvignon is made by Master Somm Ian Cauble who is leveraging his contacts in Napa to find exceptional vineyard sourcing for his winery called Precision Wine Company. This gorgeous 92pt scoring Cabernet comes from an estate in Saint Helena and it is farmed organically with no pesticides but the name itself is actually kept under wraps. The wine was aged 18 months in French oak with about 50% of the barrels new and the attention to detail in this wine is fantastic!
This wine is the current release and it is absolutely loaded with every bit of silken blueberry cobbler, blackberry jam, vivid cherry, and chocolate-laced deliciousness that any of us could ever ask for. This wine is simply seamless and has a gorgeous satin texture and a dazzling purity of fruit that any Napa Cab fan will simply love.
An open, racy cabernet, this has the cool feel of stone in a deep well, that tannic depth completely filled by ripe plum fruit. Brighter notes of cherries and cranberries emerge with air, and the wine retains its lively feel, suggesting it will improve over the next several years in bottle
