A few weeks ago, I sampled a handful of wines from Delas Frères: a celebrated producer in the Rhone Valley. Champagne House, Louis Roederer, purchased Delas in the 1990s, and their team brought much needed renewal to the brand. Since then, quality has been nearly unrivaled. Fortunately, their prices are still markedly lower than other Rhone powerhouses like Jamet, Guigal and Chapoutier.
