Hot off the presses! 70% Sauvignon Blanc, 30% Vermentino from a vineyard/winery that sadly, due to a fancy-pants contract, I cannot name! But let me just say, it's impressive, and after tasting so much mediocre white - seriously guys, you have no idea how hard this wine was to find - I am so pleased with this Bordeaux-like-ish-almost white blend! A peachy, apricoty, honeysuckly extravaganza, topped with a zing of crisp lemon notes. Like all swanky things, it was fermented and aged in French oak. Cheers to finding the forbidden fruit of white wines!
