This bold and delicious botting begins with ripe cherry and berry aromas that are enhanced by touches of wood and stony earth. The palate is rich amd dynamic, offering flavors of black cherry, cola milkshake, violet and lavender that lead into a black pepper finish.
Smoky, gamey red and black fruits, peppery herbs, violets, and leather are just some of the nuances in the 2022 Pinot Noir John Sebastiano Vineyard, a more masculine, mediumbodied, complex, Burgundian styled Pinot Noir. As with the Peake Ranch release, it’s going to benefit from a year or so in bottle and drink nicely through 2034.
