The 2020 Syrah (Central Coast) is bright, punchy and explosive, with striking aromatic intensity and plenty of blue/purplish fruit. The combination of cool-climate sites in a warm year works so well. Hints of lavender, spice and menthol linger. I very much like the energy here.
Fresh and easy aromas of berry and cracked pepper show that Syrah can be enjoyable in many occasions. The flavors are fresh and tangy on the palate, with blackberry, baking spice nd white pepper flavors.
