Submarine Canyon is a deep underwater canyon in Monterey Bay, with walls reaching up to a mile in height. Joyce Vineyards cleverly references this geographical wonder in the name of their flagship Pinot Noir as this vast abyss provides a massive cooling effect in the surrounding area! This ideal marine climate is very similar to our very own Sta. Rita Hills, allowing both regions to grow premium Pinot Noir grapes.
Joyce's aromas pull you in with cherries, strawberries, and a slight hint of vanilla. These ripe, red fruits carry through on the palate, with thyme and rosemary herbs.
