The 2022 Domaine de Beaurenard 'Le Petit Renard' Blanc is the first time that this historic producer has crafted a white wine under this special "Le Petit Renard" label which is the estate's second label. This is a foxy little white (Le Petit Renard means little fox) made up of 60% Roussanne, 20% Marsanne, and 20% Viognier that was all farmed biodynamically with no chemical pesticides. The Beaurenard estate has been family owned and operated for seven generations by the Coulon family and this is the first release of this new wine. Le Petit Renard Blanc was made using only stainless steel to preserve the unique mandarin orange, white peach, and apricot fruits layered with hints of almond and stony minerals. The nose is a zippy combination of citrus, and summer flower perfume, and the mouthfeel is bright and juicy balanced by a mid-palate richness.
