Tasting notes: A well-balanced, refined vintage with very fine effervescence. Freshness and minerality are highlighted and magnified by the extreme finesse of the Chardonnay grape, the majority in the blends. On the nose, aromas of roasted coffee (hazelnut, toast) burst forth on opening, accompanied by subtle notes of barley sugar. The palate is generous. Intense brioche and tarte tatin flavors express themselves in a full, harmonious mouthfeel.
