Perfumed and pure, this has the classic generosity of Condrieu fruit, but it's neat and defined. Spherical on the palate, with well-balanced acidity and no excess oak, well judged. A little peppery, spicy nip on the finish. Good sense of energy and freshness. Perfect balance. 20% new oak. (MW)
Last of the 2021s, the 2021 Condrieu Chery is cut from the same cloth as the other 2021s and has a pure, fresh, impeccably balanced profile. It offers a touch more minerality than the Chanson, as well as a more chiseled focused mouthfeel. All three of these Condrieu are impressive wines that will shine right out of the gate yet evolve gracefully.
