Cherry and pomegranate aromas are kicked up with hints of peppery chaparral and savory game on the nose of the bottling. The palate is juicy and full on flavor, showing ripe red fruit, fennel pollen and cracked pepper elements.
Wild strawberries, sappy flowers, pepper, and violets, with some subtle marine and iron-like nuances emerge from the 2023 Pinot Noir Seafarer, a gorgeous, medium-bodied Pinot Noir that's balanced, complex, and nuanced, with outstanding length. Aged 10 months in 24% new French oak, it will drink well for 7-8 years, but I love it today. Drink 2025-2033.
