With 50% coming from 2020 vintage and the rest from the Solera begun in 2013, the NV Champagne Blanc De Blancs Solera Brut displays a bright yellow hue and is very well-detailed in its aromatics of lemon curd, brioche, and ripe pear. Medium-bodied and graceful, it delicately rounds out the palate with a supple texture and a delicate mousse, as well as fresh acidity. Easygoing but very attractive, it can be enjoyed over the next 6-7 years.
The NV Brut Blanc de Blancs Solera is made from Chardonnay picked in Fèrebrianges, Etoges, Congy and Sézanne based half on the 2020 vintage and half on a perpetual reserve started in 2013. Serene aromas of creaminess and golden maize meal with ripe Mirabelle continue seamlessly on the slender, bright and creamy body where tiny bubbles pulse through a friendly blanc de blancs style. Lightness and freshness, combined with gentle depth from the big portion of reserve wines, make this into a rounded yet svelte and refreshing wine with a smooth finish.
